What is Changu Ni Chema?

Changu Ni Chema is a community-based organisation founded in 2007 in Homa Bay. We began as a peer-support group for people living with HIV and have grown into four integrated programmes serving our community.

Where are you based?

We are located in Arujo Ward, Homa Bay Town, Homa Bay County.

What programmes do you run?

We run four integrated programmes across Homa Bay County: health, reproductive rights, youth empowerment and sustainable agriculture.

Who do you support?

People living with HIV, orphans and vulnerable children, widows and widowers, youth, and persons with disabilities.

How can I become a member?
