What We Do
Four Thematic Areas
Four integrated thematic areas — Health, Education, Climate Change and Agribusiness — delivered through our network of 46 member groups across the whole of Homa Bay County.
Health
HIV, TB and malaria prevention and care, SRHR, GBV prevention, EMTCT and human-rights advocacy. Goal by 2030: 25,000 PLHIV supported to viral suppression and 100,000 people screened for TB.
Education
School adherence clubs for adolescents and young people, child protection and safeguarding, talent nurturing and community health education. Goal by 2030: 80 schools reached and 920 child-protection champions trained.
Climate Change
Climate-smart farming and fishing, WASH, waste management, mangrove and tree planting, and disease-outbreak preparedness. Goal by 2030: 100,000 trees and 50 acres of mangroves planted.
Agribusiness
Good Agricultural Practices, demo farms, Village Savings & Loan Associations and market linkages. Goal by 2030: 10,000 farmers trained and 300 VSLAs formed.
